This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when you use Jobora (the mobile apps, web app, and related API) operated at https://vinodv.in (“Service”). Jobora helps businesses manage projects, inventory, finance, team members, and store sales (including construction companies and retail shops).
If you use Jobora through an employer or shop, that organization is responsible for the business data you enter. The operator of this hosted instance processes data on their behalf to run the Service.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Jobora, we may process:
- Account and sign-in: email address, login ID, display name, role, password (stored only as a secure hash), and authentication tokens.
- Staff profile: phone numbers, optional home address, emergency contact, employee ID, profile photo, and project assignments. Team directory may show names, roles, and phone numbers; home addresses are limited to your own profile or administrator access.
- Business and operational data: projects, tasks, estimates, expenses, inventory, warehouses, bills, invoices, documents, and attachments you or your organization upload.
- Retail / customer accounts: mobile phone number, password (hashed), shop association, and order history linked to your tenant.
- Store and catalog data: product names, prices, barcodes, stock levels, sales, and payment records for point-of-sale flows.
- Company branding: optional company logo images you upload.
- Device permissions: camera access for barcode scanning; photo library access when you choose a logo or product image. We do not continuously track your GPS location.
- Technical and diagnostic data: app version, platform (iOS, Android, web), anonymous client session ID, API request identifiers, error messages, and screen context when the app reports a problem to help fix bugs. Passwords and full payment card numbers are not included in diagnostic reports.
- Payment-related data: subscription and billing metadata. Card and UPI payment details are handled by our payment processors (see Section 4), not stored in full on our servers.
2. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, secure, and maintain the Service (authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant isolation).
- Store and display your organization’s projects, inventory, finance, and retail data.
- Process subscriptions and payments where enabled.
- Improve reliability, troubleshoot errors, and protect against abuse (including rate limiting).
- Comply with legal obligations when required.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Where data is stored
Data is stored on servers operated for this Jobora instance (application database, file uploads, and cache). Backups may be kept according to the operator’s retention practices. Data is transmitted over HTTPS when you use the production API URL.
On your device, sign-in tokens may be stored in the platform secure storage (e.g. iOS Keychain / Android Keystore via Expo Secure Store).
4. Sharing with third parties
We may share limited data with:
- Payment processors: Stripe (subscriptions outside India) and Razorpay (India region tenants) to process billing and UPI QR payments. Their privacy policies govern payment data they collect directly.
- Google Analytics (GA4): on the web version of Jobora and the public resume page at the site root, we may use Google Analytics to collect page views, device and browser information, approximate location, and referral source. Analytics runs only after you accept analytics cookies in the on-site banner. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Infrastructure: hosting, database, and caching providers needed to run the Service.
- App distribution: Apple App Store and Google Play for app delivery and crash analytics they provide under their own policies.
- Legal requirements: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Within your organization, administrators and authorized roles may access data according to your tenant’s permissions. You may decline analytics cookies in the web banner and still use the Service; in that case we do not load Google Analytics on your browser.
5. Data retention
We retain information while your account or tenant is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Your organization’s administrator may deactivate users or manage tenant data. Backup retention depends on server configuration.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, tenant-scoped data access, and encrypted storage for sensitive payment credentials configured per tenant. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your device.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. You can:
- Update profile fields in the app where your role allows.
- Contact your organization’s Jobora administrator for account changes or data requests.
- Contact the Service operator (see Section 10) for issues with this hosted instance.
8. Children
Jobora is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International users
The Service may be accessed from different countries. Payment routing may depend on tenant region (for example, Razorpay for India). By using the Service, you understand data may be processed where the servers are located.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised policy.
11. Contact
